Liz Tapia is our newest teenage critic, who offers her comments on films geared toward young adults. "Just My Luck" was a great movie. Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine made the movie even better. It's one of the best comedy movies I have seen in awhile. This movie is about a girl named Ashley (Lindsay Lohan), the luckiest girl in Manhattan, but little does she know her good luck is about to change when she kisses a guy named Jake (Chris Pine) at a party who is ridden with bad luck. They miraculously switch paths. Ashley is suddenly plagued by one hilarious disaster after another and Jake is headed for fame instead of failure. As Ashley desperatly races to find Jake and reverse her misfortune, she discovers that her terrible twist of fate is the luckiest thing that ever happened to her. This movie is presented in Anamorphic 1.85:1 Widescreen and 1.33:1 Fullscreen. The picture is clear and sharp, with accurate color and black tones. The audio is rendered in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround and Dolby Surround, and it sounds great. The extras are good but could be better; there is a couple of featurettes and a few deleted/dxtended scenes. From Fox Home Entertainment.
