The Blu-Ray version of this anime title is a stunning example of how good a icture can be on Blu-Ray. At times, the anime figures take on an almost 3-d quality. The CGI animation is sophisticated and has a high degree of detail. An great example is seieng the intricate textures on the cyborg's shoulder's and arms.

I also found the story to be interesting and greatly influenced by western films. Produced by John Woo, the film is loaded with action sequencesbut we still get to know the characters as they battle just about everybody in the film. A great film for anime fans and also a good disc for newcomers of the genre, this Blu-Ray titles is absolutely gorgeous.
