Summer movies! There is something magical about them that recalls the childhood in us all. My Dog Skip is such a movie. Yes, its sentimental. Yes, its mostly predictable, and yes its sugary sweet at times but it tugs at the heart strings of every dog owner out there. Warner Home Video has released this disc of last years sweet film starring Diane Lane and Kevin Bacon, with child star Frankie Muniz. It truly captures childhood and growth during the World War II era and also deals with some adult issues as well, without beating you over the head with it.
