Anchor Bay introduces another fun collection in their popular "Fright Pack" series, six movies of dubious quality packaged like a six-pack (including a convenient handle and cover art done-up like beer can labels). For "Walking Dead," the term Puke Pack is probably more accurate, since most of the movies exist solely to bombard you with gore rather than scares. It'll come as no surprise to seasoned horror fans that most of these gross-out gushfests hail from Italy, where numerous early-80's horror hacks deified George A. Romero and spent their careers trying to out-do him in the bloodletting department (which is tough to do when you possess a fraction of the talent). But sometimes quantity means more than quality (hence my B content rating), and if it's stomach-churning, anatomy-raping bloodshed you seek (you know who you are), it's hard to go wrong with this low-priced set, as each movie (no matter how ineptly made) has at least one or two scenes that'll have you going "YUUUUUK!" Connoisseurs of bad cinema should also take note that at least a few of these trashy treasures are so ineptly made that you & your kindred will have a field day talking back to your TV while tipping some cold ones.
