Paramount has finally revealed its intial Blu-Ray line up of titles for May and June and will also be re-releasing some titles it had available before they went HD-DVD exclusive.  The new titles are all recent releases and include Academy Award winning There Will Be Blood and Dreamworks "Bee Movie".  Here's the entire listing:

Paramount President Kelley Avery made it clear that This list is only the beginning to Paramounts Blu-Ray plans. "We will have a strong slate of titles for Blu-ray release throughout the year, worldwide, and are enthusiastic about expanding the format's offerings for a broad consumer audience while delivering an experience that goes beyond what viewers love about DVD."

Disappointment was expressed in various forums about the lack of "Transformers" on Blu-Ray in this initial list of titles along with the "Indiana Jones Trilogy" and the action thriller "Shooter." We here at the Corner of course will be covering these titles in reviews as soon as Paramount issues its plans for the screening of Blu-Ray titles.
