The fourth and apparently final season is the most eventful yet. NTAC struggles to deal with the chaos involving promicin shots, Jordan Collier opens up Promise City for people with abilities, and a anti-4400 group calledThe Marked threaten to raise hell.

In revisiting this fourth season, I couldn't help but feel a bit down as the show was unfortunately not renewed for a fifth season by the USA network. It's a real shame too as the show was really hitting its stride with riveting episodes like "Try The Pie" and "The Marked." It was refershing to see some forward movement in this season after the lackluster season three which was essentially one long wait for the return of Jordan Collier. Thankfully, the entire season mostly revolves around Jordan who is undoubtedly the most interesting character on the show as he is essentially changing the world. Additionally, fans will also be happy to know that Richard and Lily return briefly.

It should come as no surprise that the real meat of this set is the action-packed series finale "The Great Leap Forward." Without spoiling too much, I will say that the final episode definitely opened up a lot of storytelling possibilities with the character of Jordan Collier and many other characters who have abilities. Hopefully, Paramount will make a few direct to DVD movies down the line because I know there are many fans out there who would like to see more of these characters.
