Review
"Greek" is a cliche-ridden television show.
“Greek” mainly revolves around a nerdy teen named Rusty and his sister Casey’s adventures in college fraternities. Of course, what is college without drinking, scandals, slimeballs, and plenty of problematic relationships? To call “Greek” uninspired is selling it short. “Greek” is a flat-out mindless show that runs entirely off clichéd stories and characters. Not once did I see anything resembling originality here. The lifeless characters are all obnoxious, unlikeable, bitchy people. The men merely objectify women, pull pranks, engage in hazings, and drink, while the women fight, go to parties, and try to be popular. To make things worse, the show is offensive. There’s a bible loving racist character named Dale and a supposedly geeky character named Rusty who decides to sell-out and become a fraternity dude for no apparent reason. What a good message to send to the kids! Speaking of kids, why is this show on ABC Family? This is the type of junk you would see for a few weeks on CW or Fox before it quickly got canned. I will admit that the show does have a few great guest appearances by the likes of Alan Ruck of “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off” fame and Charisma Carpenter from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel.” Conclusion: Skip “Greek” and watch the vastly underrated Judd Apatow college series “Undeclared” instead.
Picture and Sound
The show is presented in a decent looking 1.78:1 widescreen with a decent Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track.
Extras
Disc 1:
* Trailers for "Greek," "Kyle XY," and "Enchanted."
* Commentary on the pilot by Patrick Sean Smith, Shawn Piller, and LLoyd Segan. The group give insight into the script and characters and even talk about some of the material being personal.
Disc 2:
* Commentary on "Friday Night Frights" by Spencer Grammer, Dilshad Vadsaria, and Amber Stevens. The three girls giggle their way through the commentary as they blabber about on set experiences.
* Commentary on "Separation Anxiety" by Jake McDorman, Scott Michael Foster, and Paul Jones. These guys are either quiet or laughing. They really have little to say aside from some on set tidbits.
Disc 3:
* Trailers for "Greek" season 2, "Wall-E," and "National Treasure: Book Of Secrets."
* Extended music scene Darwin Lied "Heathens Be Warned."
* 3 deleted scenes from the pilot and "Depth Perception" with optional commentary by Patrick Sean Smith.
* "Greek: The Inititation"- A nearly 10 minute behind-the-scenes featurette.

Incident at Blood Pass, sometimes called Ambush at Blood Pass, is a very good example of what makes Toshiro Mifune the ultimate samurai when it comes to the golden age of samurai films and beyond. Mifune again plays the Yojimbo character established in the appropriately named, Yojimbo.
