Review
Few sequels reach the success of the original but there are exceptions. Ocean's Twelve hold its own in the light hearted comedy-drama department with the original. A powerful cast, lead by Danny Ocean (George Clooney), Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy Garcia, and Bernie Mac enjoy themselves as they pull off another crime of trickery. Carl Reiner and Eliot Gould are also back to help out as the old veterans, who stole the movie in Ocean's Eleven.
Without giving out too much of the plot, Clooney and Roberts have settled down in domestic bliss with their portion of their heist money and the other characters are also well off, although they are going through the cash fairly fast. Enter Andy Garcia, who got burned in the previous film, who wants revenge and his money back. It's up to the familiar gang plus Zeta-Jones to foil Garcia once again and it it is done in the same entertaining and humorous style as the first film. This film won't win any Oscars but must have been a hoot to film with all the star power it contains. With this many stars, the film could have been a disaster but director Soderbergh pulls it off.
Picture and Sound
Excellent picture and sound reflect the top-notch production values of Jerry Weintraub and director Steven Soderbergh. Besides the "beautiful people" in the film, we are treated to a number of exotic locales in Europe, including Amsterdam. Technically, this disc delivers rich colors and full range sound, with excellent channel separation.
Extras
Sadly, this disc lacks extras you would expect to see with a film of this caliber-I smell special edition down the road. The disc has only a theatrical trailer and alternate languages mentioned above as extras. Probably too many egos and paychecks involved to make a documentary possible for the film.
Summary
A good, if a bit absurd sequel to the Ocean's 11 film. They must have had fun making this film. Rent this one; there are no extras.

Kitchen sink melodrama as told by Luis Bunuel. In the filmography of Luis Bunuel, the celebrated Spanish surrealist director, A Woman Without Love, is an amazing leap from the youth gone wild social commentary of Los Olvidados. But within three years of that film, Bunuel was taking a shot at some kind of commercial success by taking on this straightforward adaptation of Guy De Maupassant novel's about deceit and the disintegration of a family.
The plot revolves around Rosario, a sad young woman married to an older man (a decision made for her by her parents) and with a young son whom she dotes on. By happenstance, a young man - Julio - enters their lives. He and Rosario take to each other instantly, falling instantly in love. They begin an affair, but it ends badly when Rosario refuses to leave her husband, not wishing to break up her family.
