Review
This thriller comes back in a special edition it richly deserves. With a cast of classy "suspects", this film is among the most admired in the last ten years by critics and fans alike. Stephen Baldwin, Gabriel Byrne, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollack, and Kevin Spacey are the "suspects" in an intricate and thoroughly entertaining mystery which keeps you guessing until the very last minute of the film.
Five hoods are rounded up at the beginning of the film and soon band together to do a job for a mysterious and legendary underworld kingpin named Keyser Soze. Working through his lawyer (Pete Postelwaite) the crooks are to rob a freighter of its cargo of cocaine for a big haul. Little do they or the audience know that there is much more to the simple heist than any of them imagine. Brilliantly directed by Bryan Singer, the film garnered an Oscar for Spacey in a best supporting actor category, and has gone on to win numerous other awards for its clever and witty script. It is a modern classic that belongs in every film lovers library.
