The concert opens with a classical interpretation of Canon in D by Pacobel, with Wakeman entering during the introduction and finishing it off on the piano. While Wakeman is alone on stage, some music was obviously prerecorded for this performance by Wakeman. Wakeman is charming in between the numbers, filling the audience in on stories on how songs were arranged and originally recorded. He shows a self confidence not seen before in telling the stories and is in total control of his many keyboard instruments on stage.
