This show was offered in the 80's and while the scenario was good, this disc sets' picture is sub par. Starring Jared Martin, this updates the Martian invasion, who have been reawakened (they weren't really dead) and seem much stronger then in the original film. They absorb human bodies but deteriorate once inside their human hosts. The pilot manages to explain away most of what has happened since the 50's invasion; however a glaring plot hole trips up this series as people don't remember the invasion at all, except for our professor hero. Hmm, seems as if our planet were invaded by aliens and half the cities of the world were destroyed, it would have made the papers. The picture on this is truly bad, looking like a copy of a badly dubbed video tape. While studios dig deeper in their vaults for television series to release on disc, this one should have been left there.
