"Bravestarr- The Movie" is a prequel to the short-lived animated television series. We learn how Galactic Marshall Bravestarr came to New Texas to help save the town from the evil Stampede and Tex Hex. In addition, we learn far more about each of the main characters then we do in the entire animated series.

This feature length film is undeniably more appealing than the lackluster series. Sure, there is some insufferable dialogue/narration and childish humor from the Prairie People, but the detailed animation and action-packed story more than make up for the flaws. The real meat of the story, however, is learning crucial story elements like how Bravestarr met 30-30, how Bravestarr received his powers, how Tex became Tex Hex, etc.

The only extra feature is a commentary by Andy Mangels, Lou Scheimer, Tom Sito, Erika Scheimer, Pat Fraley, and Tom Tataranowicz. The group talk about how the film came about and their experiences in working on the project. Strictly for fans only.
