Cheyenne starred Clint Walker as the soft spoken cow hand, who droves the ladies wild, had a good moral character, and was fast on the draw. This DVD set contains three episodes from different seasons of the Warner western series from the late 50s and early 60s. All through the series, Walker had a strong, steady presence as Cheyenne, a man without a home or family, who driffted from town to town. Unlike the Maverick series, this western was serious in nature, and there was a lot of gun play and killing in these shows, although their was rarely any blood. Picture quality is so-so with some dirt and scratches. As with the Maverick series, I hope Warner eventually releases these westerns as boxed season sets and cleans them up a bit. Attention Warner; how about Sugarfoot, Bronco and 77 Sunset Strip next!
