Review

"Crazy Love" is a documentary that focuses on the relationship between a man named Burt and a woman named Linda. As you can probably assume, however, Burt and Linda's relationship was anything but ordinary. Throughout the 92 minute running time, we slowly learn that their relationship was, for lack of a better word, deranged.
Whether Burt is stalking Linda to win her affection, or having someone throw lye in her face out of jealousy, this is one kooky story that has to be seen to be believed. In an age when "happy ending" love stories plague the big and small screens, it's refreshing to watch a REAL LIFE love story that is anything but picture perfect. True, there is a genuine love between Burt and Linda here, but it's often disturbing and very rarely pretty. I'm sure a majority of the people who see this film will wonder why Linda is still with Burt. Then again, the movie isn't called "Crazy Love" for nothing. Extras: * Trailers for "Flawless," "No End In Sight," "Ira And Abby," and an HDNET ad. * Linda's artwork. * Burt's prison letters. * A commentary track with director Dan Klores and Burt and Linda Pugach. In the track, Burt and Linda give their thoughts on the film, as well as give more detailed descriptions of events, friendships, etc. If you want to know more about the couple, give this track a listen. * 27 deleted interviews clocking a little over 43 minutes. Main topics include Burt and Linda's sexuality and Linda's hobbies. "Crazy Love" is presented in 1.78:1 widescreen with 5.1 and 2.0 Dolby Digital audio tracks.
