Review

"Devil Times Five" is one weird movie.



The story: After surviving a bus crash, a group of children wind up at a rich snobs house. However, the residents of the house quickly learn that these children are anything but normal. In fact, they aren't average children at all. They are actually murderous mental patients!

"Devil Times Five" is not something I can recommend to the average viewer. The plot is virtually absent, the characters, with silly names like Papa Doc and Lovely, are utterly forgettable, and the music is beyond awful. However, even with all of these flaws the film has some bizarre and baffling imagery that cult film lovers aren't likely to see anywhere else. Without spoiling too much, viewers can expect to see snowman corpses, a random cat fight, death by piranhas, and possibly the longest slow motion scene in cinematic history. See at your own risk.

Extras include a poster gallery, Code Red trailers, alternate main title sequence, interviews with actors, and a dull commentary by Joan McCall, Mickey Blowitz, Dawn Lyn, David Sheldon, and Darren Gross.
