Review

Season Two of this great television drama starts out with a mock trial of Richard Kimble with the defense led by Ed Begley. From this Kimble learns that he must track down the one-armed man if he ever hopes to be acquitted of killing his wife. In this first Season Two set (come on Paramount, give us full season sets) , David Janssen s Kimble works a variety of jobs as he wanders America, meeting friends, lovers and enemies, all the while Lt. Gerard(Barry Morse) is on his trail.

Their paths cross a few times in this four disc set; Kimble even befriends Gerard's son in an accidental kidnapping. He also get closer to the one armed man as people who have heard of his plight try to help him as best they can. The series formula is wonderful and eads Janssen into all kinds of atmospheres and characters which made the series so entertaining.
The black a nd white picture is in good shape despite its age, with only a flaw or two seen momentarily in each episode. The discs were mastered from the original black and white negatives with restored audio.

There are no extras on this set.

A high recommendation-The Fugitive is a television classic and this set will have you hooked from the first episode.

If you own the previous disc of these excellent short films from Nick Parks, you should consider a repurchase of this hilarious trio of films made by Parks. You not only get the original films, "A Grand Day Out", "The Wrong Trousers"( my favorite), and "A Close Shave", which introduced Shaun The Sheep to audiences. Included on this disc are documentaries on the making of these films from the older BBC disc release, plus "Cracking Contraptions", a film included on the last dvd release, PLUS some additional Shaun The Sheep shorts not included before. All for a very nice price of $14.95 retail. A great entertainment bargain.
