Review

Director Eli Roth follows up "Cabin Fever" with this vicious & twisted exercise in sadism. Three dislikeable louts travel across Europe looking for sex and fun, only to wind up prey to a group of sickos who kidnap people and offer them for torture to anyone willing to pay for the privledge of inflicting it. After an agonizingly slow start, "Hostel" kicks into horrific high gear, and is easily one of the most graphically violent mainstream movies in recent memory. It ain't especially scary or original, but it's very well made and pretty disturbing. From Sony.
