Review

This lovingly constructed documentary highlights Jane Goodall's work trying to understand how animals communicate and the innate perceptions that all species have towards the natural world and towards the humans that care for them. Like most Animal Planet programming (this film was originally produced for broadcast on that station), it is fascinating stuff, filled with insights and opportunities for learning that will hopefully engage people of all ages. If you're an animal lover, there's much to be taken away from the material that Goodall presents here. If not, there's still going to be something in this documentary that will have you marveling.

This is a staggeringly unfunny sequel to The Whole Nine Yards, a movie which didn't really warrant a sequel to begin with. Most of the original cast is back, including Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry, which really doesn't matter when they're working with a script devoid of any laughs. Too many more movies like this and Willis will be begging to do Die Hard 4. From Warner Home Video
