Review

Did you ever love a movie as a kid, then see it years later and wonder what it is you saw in it? That's how I felt watching "Let's Scare Jessica to Death," now on DVD for the first time. Despite having one of the greatest horror titles of all time, the film is a rather bland 'ghost' story that hasn't aged all too well, playing like a 'Movie of the Week' ABC used to run in the 70s. Still, the film has a bit of a cult following, and some viewers may get a nostalgic kick out of seeing it again. But despite a few still-effective (and creepy) scenes, the movie is unlikely to gain any new fans. From Paramount.
