Review

This new edition sports a number of additional extras but they seem like a promo for its star, Tom Cruise. Besides a special documentary on the three films, we also get Tom's acceptance speeches from two different awards and a tribute reel to the actor. The film itself has had a facelift and looks better then ever.To be released .

http://mgm.com/dvd A truly entertaining series about a teenage girl named George who gets killed her first day on the job and deals with her "job" in the afterlife. Starring the droll but charming Ellen Muth, the series also stars Mandy Patinkin as her boss and mentor in the afterlife, and Jasmine Guy as a wise cracking after life meter maid. The series deals with the serious subject of death but also injects humor in the scripts when it can. For example, George meets her fate on a lunch break by being hit by a MIR spacestation space toilet as it breaks up in the atmosphere. The box set is over ten hours in length and contains extra features, including deleted scenes and a feature on the music of the series, composed by Stewart Copeland, the former drummer for the 80's rock band The Police. A highly recommended series, bold and original from Showtime andMGM Home Video.
