Review

Disney has had many heroines, especially in recent years. Mulan is the latest and how do I judge a Disney title? Do my kids want to watch it? The answer for Mulan was yes. The story is familiar and predictable for Disney fans. A young girl wants to prove her worth to her family and save her father's honor by disguising herself as a man and joining the Chinese Army to rid the kingdom of the evil threat caused by the chief villian. Along the way she befriends a hilarious sidekick dragon (played with great energy by Eddie Murphy), and successfully helps defeat the enemy.
