Review

This second collection of classic black and white Popeye cartoons is a treat for fans of the Fleischer Studios work. The majority of the cartoons are 7 minutes long and include mini documentaries about the specific title, called Popumentaries. There is an abundance of material for classic cartoon fans and besides the cartoon collection you also get a two reeler of Alladin and His Lamp (in full restored color) , and a documentary on the Fleischer Studios called "Out Of The Inkwell", plus a bonus Superman cartoon, included to compare supereheroes Popeye vs. Superman. The two disc set is a treat for young and old and belongs in any serious cartoon fans collection.
