Michael Wiess returns for Season Two in this short-lived but interesting action drama. He plays a genius runaway from an institution that brought him up and he manages to keep one step ahead of his trackers; Syndey, a Centre agent who has worked with him all his life and Miss Parker; beautiful but cold hearted hunter. This season introduces two new characters that are after Jarod as well but also want to discredit the trackers, which makes for some interesting story lines and sub plots. We also learn more about Jarod's background and about the mysterious death of Miss Parker's mother. Look for a young Haley Joel Osment in the two part season finale. What makes the series interesting is while the pursuit of Jarod goes on, Jarod uses his "Pretender" abilities to help others in different lines of work and help solve a number of different problems with guest stars. A real "good guy" who is fascinated by child's toys and has an addiction to PEZ. A great set with 21 episodes on three discs and extras that include making of features and audio commentaries.
