In this re-imagined take on Mark Twain's classic "The Prince And The Pauper," a child movie star named Eddie switches lives with an identical looking average boy named Tom whose dream is to become an actor. At first, the two seem content with their role reversal, but they quickly want to return to their normal lives. Much like "Sydney White" and "The Cinderella Story," "The Prince And The Pauper" is another overly simplistic teen remake of a timeless classic. Twin actors Cole and Dylan Sprouse (of "The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody" fame) are fine in their roles, but their acting ability is limited. I fail to see why the duo is so popular. There are far better child actors on the small screen.
