Review

This big screen treatment of the uberpopular Nickelodeon series looks and plays like a 90 minute version of the show, meaning fans will be in hog heaven and others will go into epileptic shock about 20 minutes into it. The plot features Spongebob and his buddy, Patrick, on a quest to recover King Neptune's stolen crown, which Mr. Krabs has been framed for. All the show's main characters (plus a few new ones) are well-served by a genuinely amusing script, and the whole thing is worth watching just to see Spongebob & Patrick 'Ride the Hasselhoff' (featuring everyone's favorite "Baywatch" hunk in the role he was literally born to play). From Paramount.

John Huston directed and starred in this epic film that also stars George C. Scott, Ava Gardner, Michael Parks, Richard Harris and Peter O'Toole.  The film depicts the first 22 books from Genesis through the near sacrifice of Abraham's son.  The DIno DeLaurentis production had an expensive budget and remarkable secial effects for its day.  At times, the film becomes a bit silly , as in the Noah's Ark segment, but in all its an interesting picture but entirely too long.
