The story revolves around a college student named Chloe who finds herself in a heap of trouble during an archaeological dig in a forest. Why is Chloe being followed? Why are murders occurring around campus? Are the Celtic objects found at the excavation site more important than people realize? More importantly, who is responsible for the grizzly crimes? All is revealed in the end. "Broceliande" is a stale, by the numbers French horror flick that looks and feels like a rip-off of 90's slashers. There is literally nothing new or original here whatsoever. The lazy plot contains such cliched elements such as an evil murderous cult, creepy characters, the shady love interest, and a final 20 minutes so ridiculous and outlandish that you will be hard pressed not to eject the disc. Why BCI eclipse released this obscure title in the U.S. 6 years after its release is beyond me.
